30-Minute Balance and Leg-focused Class (Saucy Intermediate)

In this 30-minute yoga and functional movement class, we will play with balance, as well as stretching and strengthening the legs.

Please note: this video is a saucy intermediate. Find YOUR limit and hang out there. There is no need to push yourself into the final pose if you are not ready! Be sweet to yourself.

30-Minute Postural Reset Class (Nourishing Beginner)

This yoga and functional movement class is a perfect way to end the day… This really is a full-body reset!

In this 30-minute yoga and functional movement class, we will work on balance, opening the shoulders, strengthening the arms and hands, and working on improving the health of our spine with back traction, spinal extension, and twists. Finally, we will end in a relaxation pose.

Tutorial | Legs up the Wall: An Effective Tool for Relaxation

Have trouble sleeping? In this tutorial, we will work legs up the wall, a simple and effective pose for improving the health of your feet and knees, and for calming the nervous system. I’ve found this pose works wonders if my brain is running 1,000 miles a minute and I need to wind down before bedtime.

Yoga Class | Balanced Body (Nourishing Beginner) | 30-min | Yoga and Functional Movement

Today we worked on:

+balance

+opening the shoulders

+decompressing the spine

+strengthening the shoulders and arms in down dog

+showed our hands and wrists some love

+spinal extension and rotation in reading pose & favorite twist

While this class is simple enough for beginners, if you are new to these postures, it can feel VERY sensational! Please be sweet to yourself, ease off the poses, come out early. Know that this is what having a healthy body feels like... It won't happen overnight, but if you continue at it little by little, you will feel dramatically different next year! :) Excited for you to join me on this ever-evolving online journey!

Tutorial | Shoulder Stretch

Shoulders feeling tight? In this tutorial, I will demonstrate a shoulder stretch on the wall. We will open up the front of the shoulders, and you will feel a nice stretch from your fingers all the way up into your neck.

This is a spicy one (especially if you spend most of your day typing away on the computer - yikes!), so be sweet to yourself and ease into the pose.

3:18 - Here I mentioned this was “internal rotation” of the arm bones… I misspoke; it’s actually external rotation!
